BCCLA’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity to hear highlights of the Association’s work over the past year and our key priorities into the months ahead. We will also conduct AGM business and announce our new Board members.
When: Monday, June 16th, 2025 from 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm PST/8:45 pm – 10 pm EST
Where: Virtually via Zoom.
ASL and Captioning will be provided.
The call for nominations for the Board from the membership is open from Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 until Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 at 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.
BCCLA invites its members to nominate candidates for election to the Board of Directors. BCCLA Directors are deeply committed to our mandate to preserve, defend, maintain, and extend civil liberties and human rights in Canada.
Nominations are accepted from a diverse range of individuals and communities. We also encourage nominations from all regions of the province. Directors are not required to be residents in BC’s Lower Mainland, as we facilitate distance participation in board meetings. If you are interested in nominating yourself or someone else, you can view our Nomination Form or contact us and we will mail you a hard copy.
Please note that this year’s AGM is only open to members, and all members are welcome. Only members in good standing who joined before March 15, 2025 will be able to vote in the business portion of the meeting.
