On July 23, 2014 we sent a letter to Rear Admiral Jennifer Bennett, the officer in charge of Canada’s cadet program, to express our concerns with reports we had received about search practices in place at cadet camps across Canada. We believe that these searches should be conducted in a transparent, accountable and respectful way in line with Charter values.
