The BCCLA sent this submission to the Select Standing Committee on Children and Youth regarding its Review of the Representative for Children and Youth Act. In the submission, we expressed our strong support for the work and mandate of the Representative for Children and Youth, and called on the Standing Committee to maintain robust privacy protections for children and families involved in the child welfare system.
