Joint letter to Alberta’s Minister of Service, Nate Glubish, expressing our concern about the alarming state of access of information and privacy in the province. Recent findings suggest that Alberta’s government is not prioritizing its obligation to respond to access of information requests. With this in mind, we believe that the current Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIP Act) urgently needs a re-evaluation to ensure it serves its much needed purpose.
