“This one-day seminar focuses on the revocation of citizenship in Bahrain and the GCC Â but participants will also explore instances in the Dominican Republic, Myanmar and Canada in order to better understand the longstanding nature and scope of the problem. Participants will explore the practice, impact and human rights dimension of arbitrary nationality revocation and forceful exile and explore what can be done to halt the practice. The seminar intends to conclude with a draft joint platform for action.”
