The BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association (BC FIPA) is turning 25 years old, and they’re having a celebration!
Over the past 25 years, BC FIPA has made major contributions to the Canadian information rights landscape. They have fought constitutional challenges all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada, released groundbreaking reports and studies, raised public awareness of a number of key information and privacy rights issues, filed complaints on key issues, and helped thousands of individuals and organizations access public information and protect their privacy through our helpline and website.
