This free event with discuss HIV as it relates to women and their unique experiences with the virus. The day will include presentations by Dr. Mary Kestler, Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, The Canadian HIV Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Cohort Study, a showing of the film Consent, and a panel of speakers who are living with HIV.
This event is for healthcare and social service providers but everyone is welcome.
In addition, on the day before (Thursday April 21) Positive Women’s Network and AVI are providing a private one day mini-retreat for women living with HIV.
