BC Civil Liberties Association Executive Director Josh Paterson will be speaking at the Vancouver Day of Action To Stand Against Bill C-51 this weekend.
The day of action is linked to nation-wide demonstrations organized in response to the government’s pending security legislation and the gravity of its implications. Many of the changes to Canadian law and to Canada’s national security apparatus proposed by the bill seriously jeopardize the rights and freedoms of Canadians. Hear from Josh and join community members in collective action against a bill that places a number of our civil liberties at risk.
