From April 26th to April 28th, the Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law in Education (CAPSLE) will be hosting their 2015 national conference: “Peaks & Valleys: Perspectives on Law and Education.” BCCLA Policy Directory Micheal Vonn will be one of four presenters during the conference’s initial panel discussion. Vonn will explore the rights and freedoms of students and educational institutions with respect to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPOP).
Other panelists include Larry Kuehn, Director of Research and Technology at the BC Teacher’s Federation; Michael McEvoy of the BC Privacy Commission; and Suzanne Kennedy of Harris & Company LLP.
