Micheal Vonn

Micheal Vonn, policy director for the BCCLA, will be speaking this year at the 2014 BC Library Association (BCLA) Conference taking place from March 31st to April 2nd, 2014.

The talk is titled “Privacy Concerns: A Conversation with BC Civil Liberties Association’s Micheal Vonn” and will take place on April 2nd at 10:00 am.

The 2014 BC Library Conference theme is “Hello, World”, which hopes to capture “feelings of optimism, engagement and curiosity”. The BCLA Conference will provide chances for conversation as well as debate. It will also allow opportunities for learning using both traditional and innovative methods.

Keynote Speakers for the Conference include Ivan Coyote, Marian Bantjes, and Arundhati Roy.
