This volunteer intern will assist the BCCLA’s caseworker in corresponding with members of the public about a variety of civil liberties issues. The kind of cases that the caseworker takes on typically involve filing formal complaints with public bodies, assisting with freedom of information requests, providing people with general legal information, and assisting with formal written correspondence. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2012.
