Organized by the BCCLA, The Youth and Civil Liberties Conference, assembles high school students to engage with emerging civil liberties and human rights concerns. This year will be our 19th year running the conference and will focus on “Intervening for Justice,” exploring significant societal issues and equipping attendees with necessary tools for effective social advocacy. Hosted at SFU Harbour Centre, the conference will be conducted in person, fostering connections among youth, and facilitating dialogues with local advocates, lawyers, and community organizers.
