In February of this year, Duncan RCMP officer David Pompeo was found guilty of aggravated assault in the 2009 shooting of Bill Gillespie. The court will rule on sentencing on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Duncan Law Courts. Bill Gillespie will be available for comment at the courthouse and BCCLA lawyer Raji Mangat will be available to comment by phone or in person in Vancouver.
