On Wednesday, June 17 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, CARP BC will be holding the second part of their Dying To Have A Conversation panel around end-of-life issues. BCCLA Executive Director Josh Paterson will be a panelist alongside Derryck Smith, Dying with Dignity, Physicians Advisory Council; Bill Cavers, outgoing President of Doctors of BC; and Marc Burchell, whose sister Leyanne died with assistance in 2002. CARP BC Representative April Lewis will moderate the panel. There will be an audience question and answer period after presentations.
The panel will take place at White Rock Community Centre, 15154 Russell Ave. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are available at $10 for CARP Members and $15 for Non-Members (refundable with membership) and are to be paid in cash. Please RSVP to Denice at 604-538-5778.
