Vancouver, B.C. – Paul Champ, the Ottawa-based lawyer who is acting for the B.C. Civil Liberties Association and Amnesty International Canada at the ongoing Military Police Complaints Tribunal hearings into the Afghan detainee issue will be available to local media before speaking at the BCCLA’s annual general meeting on April 19, 2010.

At the AGM that evening, Champ will be receiving the BCCLA’s Reg Robson Award for his work on the detainee file.
