The BCCLA is seeking 1 Communications and Development Volunteer to support a variety of communications and outreach initiatives including events, digital communications, and fundraising support activities. Volunteers support a variety of initiatives including event planning, fundraising, social media, community outreach, research and more! Volunteers are selected to volunteer one day a week (or the equivalent hours split between more than one day) for a period of six months.
This session with take place from January 31, 2022 to June 30, 2022. The volunteer position will take place remotely for 8-10 hours per week and will require access to the internet and a computer. This can be one full day per week or split across two or more days. These schedules are flexible, subject to the needs of the organization and the volunteer.
Volunteers will be able to make valuable connections with key people in Vancouver’s non-profit, human rights, and legal community. In addition, you’ll be able to acquire real-life experience in events planning, community outreach, communications, and fundraising.
