Woman with ALS pleas with court for legal right to die with dignity

Vancouver – On Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the BCCLA will hold a press conference announcing that a British Columbian woman with ALS, a fatal neurodegenerative disease, filed an application with the BC Supreme Court asking to be added as a plaintiff in the BCCLA’s death with dignity lawsuit.

What: Press conference at the BCCLA on new plaintiff for assisted dying lawsuit

When: Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. PST.

Where: 550 – 1188 West Georgia Street, Vancouver (please come to our office on the 5th floor and we will escort you to our 3rd floor boardroom)

Who: The woman with ALS who is asking the court for choice in dying will be available for comment.
