BCCLA launches lawsuit to legalize medically-assisted dying for seriously and incurably ill individuals

Vancouver – On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, the BCCLA will hold a press conference announcing a legal challenge to the laws that criminalize medically-assisted dying for seriously and incurably ill individuals.

What: Press conference at the BCCLA on assisted dying lawsuit

When: Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. PST.

Where: 1188 West Georgia Street, Vancouver (please come to our office on the 5th floor and we will escort you to the boardroom)

Who: Two plaintiffs in the case who assisted their incurably-ill mother to end her life with dignity will be available for comment
