BCCLA Shares Cell Phone Video Recovery Results

Vancouver, B.C. – The BC Civil Liberties Association will hold a news conference in Vancouver to announce the results of attempts to recover a cellphone video of the shooting of Michael Hubbard by Vancouver Police.

Adam Smolcic, a 25 year-old bystander, says he filmed the shooting on his cellphone and that Vancouver Police deleted the video after confiscating his phone in the minutes following the incident.

Simon Feay of Aceon Data Recovery, a data recovery expert from Vancouver, will be present to explain the recovery attempt processes and answer questions.
