The BCCLA congratulates the Rio Theatre on succeeding in its fight to ensure the government does not favour one form of entertainment over another in awarding liquor licenses. Corrine Lea, owner of the Rio was grateful for the support of the BCCLA in her fight: “Without the BCCLA’s help I have no doubt we would have had a much more difficult time getting our concerns taken seriously. We are grateful for their research and advice on the issue.”
