The BCCLA is proud to announce that our Litigation Director Grace Pastine will be a featured panelist at the 11th National Symposium on Class Actions hosted by Osgoode Hall Law School Professional Development. The two-day event will feature a faculty of over 40 prominent lawyers, judges, and academics, including a special Farewell Message from The Hon. Warren K. Winkler, QC, former Chief Justice of Ontario.

Grace will be a panelist for the “Do Charter Cases Work as Class Actions?” along with Philippe Hubert Trudel (Trudel & Johnston). Other panels discuss topics such as class action funding, certification wars, dividing up the pie, and class action ethics.

The event will be held April 24-25 at the Osgoode Professional Development Centre (1 Dundas St. W., 26th Floor, Toronto, ON M5G 1Z3). Breakfast and refreshments will be served, along with a Wine & Cheese Reception on Day One.
